This building is believed to be the oldest commercial structure in downtown Labelle. It is an excellent example of Florida vernacular architecture with board and batten siding. It was built by William Poole as a General Store on the newly created Bridge Street in 1912. The Poole family sold the store and building in 1940. Since that time, it has had multiple owners. It is hoped to be restored for the LaBelle Heritage Museum.
