    About this Stop

The Caldwell Home Place is one of Labelle's oldest homes. It is one of the most historically important buildings in LaBelle. It was LaBelle's first general store and trading post. It was the landing for the Steamboats and LaBelle's first post office. It was purchased by John Caldwell in 1907. His family owned this house and land for nearly 120 years.
