Edgar Everett Goodno donated the land for Barron Park in 1911. It was renamed Ford Park when industrialist Henry Ford took possession of Goodno's property in 1924. It was renamed Barron Park in 1968. Barron Park is the home of Labelle's annual Swamp Cabbage Festival.

Head to the east side of Barron Park and look for the historic marker pictured below. It marks the spot where LaBelle's original jail house once stood.
